The Church of St. Duh, late renaissance stile was built in the first decades of XVII ct. On the west side of the church there is a stairway, with late gothic balustrade, going to the chorus.
The church of St. Ivan is a gothic-renaissance church built in the second half of XV ct. In the upper part of the west wall of the bell-tower there is a great clock, made of stone, first mechanical public clock in Šibenik. The church was decorated by architects Ivan Pribislaviæ and renaissance architect Nikola of Florence. The bell-towe r was finished by the middle of XVIII ct. The church was decorated with wooden sealing from 1620 and 1630, and the walls are painted wih fresco paintings.
The church of St. Krševan was originally an object in romanic stile built in XII ct with many gothic characteristics. It was damaged in the World War II, and after reconstruction it became a gallery of the town museum, Muzej grada Šibenika, and now it has a gallery of St. Krševan. The oldest bell in Croatia is exposed near the south wall of the church, built in 1266, found in the bottom of the sea near island of Silba by sponge catchers from Krapanj.
The church and the monastery of St. Lovro are built in the second half of XVII ct by Franciscan monks. It is built in narrow area near cliff. In the tympanum of the side entrance there is a statue of St. Lovro (St. Lawrence) from 1720. The bell tower is finished in 1785. On the opposite side of the church there is a Franciscan monastery from 1650. It is a gret architectonic complex. Its main building is so called Foscolo palace, the most beautiful example of Šibenik architecture of XV ct from period of so-called flower gothic and its greatest master Juraj Dalmatinac. The convents library has a collection of incunabula. There are many paintings of renaissance and baroque painters in the convents gallery. The most famous is Madonna with child.
The church of St. Grgur is a small gothic church in the oldest street of Šibenik, the one named after the great architect of the cathedral Juraj Dalmatinac. In that street there was masters home with only door preserved now days. On the opposite side there is a church. In it, there is an exhibition, made by town museum, called Juraj Dalmatinac and his work outside of Šibenik, with his works, statues and architecture objects in Pag, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik and Ancona.
The church and the monastery of St. Frane were built in the second half of XIV ct and represents spacious gothic building without decoration. In the Xv ct the chapel of Sv. Križ was added. In 1674 paintings, in technique oil on wooden surface are xxx in the church. An organ made by famous Croatian constructor Petar Nakiæ in 1762 is placed in the chapel of Sv. Križ. In the south side of the church there is a monastery from XIV ct. It has an important archive for history of Franciscan order, Croatian aristocratic family of Šubiæ Bribirski and the town of Šibenik. Collection of manuscript codexes with artistic illuminations from XI to XV ct is very important.
Church of St. Nikola was built in XVII ct in baroque stile. It has a tower bell incorporated in the façade. It used to belong to a fraternity of Šibenik ship makers.
Church of Uspenie Bogomatere is a great baroque building from XVII and XVIII ct. It has a tower bell incorporated in the façade. By the beginning of the XIX ct it was a catholic church of St. Spas, but French government in 1808 gave the church to the Serb Orthodox Church. It has many artefacts.
The church of St. Dominik until 1910 was renaissance church, and after reconstruction in 1911 it got pseudo gothic caratheristics. On the left from the main entrance there is a tomb of Šibenik bishop Arrigoni (1599-1626). An organ made by Gaetano Moscatelli, student of Petar Nakiæ is placed in the chorus.
The church of St. Barbara also the church museum is a gothic building from the first half of XV ct. In the façade above from entrance there is a stone statue of St. Nikola. Façade of the church has two baroque bell towers. Inside there is a small church museum with some romanic, renaissance and baroque artefacts, painting, statues ecc. from XIV to XVII ct.
