Sea-view, parking in shade, FREE wireless internet access and a barbecue within plot makes Maria Apartments the perfect place for your vacation. In front of the house, there is a parking place for few vehicles, and seaside with a small beach. Above the house there's a fenced children playground with artificial grass suitable for football, tennis or basketball. About 200 meters away from the house is the beach "Zvizda" (pebble stone, gravel) and small marina. We're about 5 minutes of pleasant walk away from the centre of Zaton, about 800 m from the market and bus station.
Our house is situated on one of the most beautiful and most attractive areas of Zaton, surrounded by dense Mediterranean vegetation, beautiful walkway and rowing trail which spreads throughout the bay.

Few minutes away from the house you can find all the necessary products and services. Our surrounding is well known for its historical and cultural sights as well as interesting tourist offer and two National parks – National park Krka and National park Kornati.
Tourists find this place very peaceful for its quiet sleep, away from loud disco noise. Here the river Krka flows into the Adriatic, and makes the sea less salty (mixed). In other hand, You can swimm and sun almost everywhere. Still, if You wish for sand and salt sea, we are not far from other tourist places of Sibenik Riviera - Vodice, Primošten, Murter (few minutes driving) where You can find all other subjects adjusted for fun and excitement.

The best period to visit our coast is from April to October. Peak temperatures in high season summer months (July, August) can reach 38°C (100°F), and the water surface at that point reaches a comfortable 26°C (79°F).

Zaton near Sibenik

Zaton is a peaceful tourist resort located 10 km north-west of Sibenik, at the end of the long bay, connected to the main coastal road. Zaton is the perfect place for rest, recreation and sightseeing tourism and has a unique rowing course used for training of many Croatian and foreign rowers. Besides the sea and nearby islands, it's surrounded by two National Parks - National Park "Kornati" and National Park "Krka". Also, it is close to the lake Prukljan, tourist destinations Skradin, Vodice, Primosten and Murter.

First news about the settlement on today's spot comes from 15. Century. From 16. Century it's independent district of saint Juraj with church of the same name, but the patron (protector) of Zaton is saint Roko (16. of August - fest and procession). From ancient times Zaton was known by boatmen, fishermen and agriculturists, so here it can be found some good drops of vine ("Babic", "Plavina", "Rose", and dessert vine "Prosek"), and sweet fig with juicy olive, that still today, rips under golden Mediterranean sun. Fishermen are hunting sea and river fish, and because of specific mix of sea and river water, here can be found some specific kinds of fish and shells.

Its maintained architecture and harmony, with special atmosphere of river Krka and sea, makes him an excellent place for rest, out of disco-club hysteria, hotel terraces and all other attractions of younger tourist generations. When You come to Zaton, the first thing You can see are clean streets and tidiness of green surfaces, arranged with tradicional baskets made of branches and flowers. Nice walkway close to the sea, spreads about three kilometers, from the bay of "Dobri dolac" to the bay of "Šarina draga". In the small harbour the wind is not a problem. "Bura" welters the sea far from the bay, and berths are not on strokes of "Jugo".

Beaches near Zaton

Zaton is famous for its long promenade along the sea, from the bay Dobri dolac to the bay Sarina draga. It is ideal for those who love peace, rest and recreation. In Sarina draga there is a same name pebble beach, and near (about 400 m away) the concrete-gravel beach Zvizda.

Where to eat?
- in the restaurant Porat, and it doesn't hurt to visit any traditional taverns, wine shops that offer the occasional bit of dalmatian food.

Sports and Recreation


Many cyclists, rowers and other recreationists can often be found in the move from the bay Dobri dolac up to the bay Sarina draga. Those who love diving and fishing here can find something for themselves. Small football and basketball courts close to the local school is open to anyone interested in these sports and other sports games. In the center of Zaton there is a playground where kids can have fun.

Zaton is situated in a quiet location, yet close enough to larger cities (Sibenik, Vodice) where in summer, is full of all cultural and music events:

If you are looking for entertainment and fun, you can for just a 10 minutes driving, come across the center of events, surrounded by cafes, disco clubs, restaurants and various events in Vodice and Sibenik.

Terms and Conditions

PROGRAM AND ACCOMMODATION PRICES
The prices found on "www.maria-apartments.com" pages include:
daily renting of accommodation units, beddings, towels, tablecloths and dish, cloths, a fully equipped kitchen with dishes and cutlery, SAT-TV, kitchen-range, oven, refrigerator, water, electricity and gas consumption, air-condition as well as the cleaning service once a week.

Tourist Tax is included in price. Special services are the services which are not included in the original price (meals, domestic specialties, wine, brandy etc.), hence the guest pays them separately.
The prices of accommodations are in euro terms.
The daytime rate is 50% of the bed rate.
For stays less than 4 days price is 30% higher.
Pets are allowed on demand.

The owner reserves the right to make changes to the stated prices. For customers who have paid an advance for their reservation, the owner guarantees the price of accommodation, stated in the calculation according to which the advance payment was maid. If the changes occur prior to the payment of the advance, the owner is required to inform the customer. If more customers than are stated on the reservation arrive at the accommodation unit, the host has the right to deny the extra customers accommodation or to accommodate all of the customers at extra charge directly made to the host.

TERMS OF PAYMENT
Payment of a specific accommodation unit is made in two parts:
- the first part is paid on the advance payment (30% + bank transfer)
- the second part is paid on the arrival in destination.

For proper payment to the foreign currency account, the following data will be required:
- payer: name and surname of the person who made the reservation and his/her address,

CUSTOMER'S RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATION
If the customer wish to change or cancel a reservation, this must be done in written form (email, mail, or fax).
Changes must be made at least 30 days prior to the arrival date. For cancellation, 30% of the accommodation price will be charged (the advance will not be returned).

NOTE
Upon payment of the advance, the customer accepts the General Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
